Yoga Classes

Linda’s yoga classes incorporate the following elements:

The Spine: Movement of the spine in all directions, ie. twists, to stimulate circulation and allow blood to flow back into areas that may have been closed or blocked.

The Cleansing: Movement synchronized with the breath generates heat in the body which stimulates a detoxification of impurities within the body and blood.

The Awakening: Heat, movement and breath stimulates the chakras (energy centres) which align vertically along the same plane as the spine, creating a kundalini awakening which manifests in various ways, including tingling in the body and brain regions, fluttering or twitching of muscles, or, heat or cold in the system, or various body channels or chakra centres.

Linda offers the following signature classes in privates, semi-privates or small groups (4 to 6), or, corporate events:

Light Flow

Suitable for: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

This class will allow you to move through basic poses in a slow flow. You will receive and hands-on adjustments for optimal alignment and lengthening of the spine.

Fire Flow

Suitable for: Intermediate/Advanced

These classes link the breath to each pose including transitions, turning the practice into a moving meditation. This process produces intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. Modifications to poses will be provided when needed.


Suitable for: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

In this Restorative practice, poses are held for extended periods of time, ie, 10-15 minutes. Props, like bolsters, blocks and straps are used to support our bodies in a comfortable position to allow areas of the body to open. Deep breathing is encouraged and a guided meditation is offered. A safe, soothing atmosphere is created to allow long periods of rest which allows the nervous system to reset allowing an opening for the body to heal itself. Hands-on adjustments are offered in these classes. Dress warmly – layers. And bring a blanket or heavy towel – depending on location and prop availability.

Reiki Restorative – specialized workshop/experiences

Suitable for: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

This offering adds-on to “Restorative” (see description above). The add-ons include a chakra reading, light chakra balancing aromatherapy – specific to your current imbalances, a mental clearing with Reiki Energy healing. The restorative poses work on opening your chakras from the root to crown. Hands-on adjustments are also offered in these classes. Take home your chakra reading.

Chakra Yoga – 1.5hr private session

Cost: $120

This is a one-on-one yoga session that can take place at your home, or a mutually convenient location within 40kms of the GTA (beyond 40kms, travel fee will apply).

It is designed to create a healing yoga practice catered specifically for you as related to the chakra system. Breath and Meditation techniques are also incorporated. Hands-on adjustments are also included. You will receive a chakra reading, a series of yoga poses for you and a booklet to refer to.

This session and the take home is beneficial for those with a busy schedule and need a little direction on how to fit health/wellness into their life. Suitable for all ages and all levels.

Yoga Clinic

This class explores a pose or family of poses assisting in a deeper understanding of the muscles at work and how to advance, if desired. Family of poses to explore: Standing poses, Seated poses, Twists, Back bending, Inversions (headstands), Hip openers, etc.
